What is Reflexology?

Reflexology, an integrative health practice, maps a reflection of the body predominately on the feet, hands, and outer ears. It uses unique manual techniques to deliver pressure to neural pathways assisting the body to function optimally.

Emilee's understanding

There is a standard definition, however individually, reflexology is uniquely and authentically expressed through every practitioner. It is an art as well as a science. The art lies withing the tactile sensations of deposits found in reflex areas, and how a reflexologist senses, interprets, and works each deposit. Like any art form, time and practice are essential to building the technique and motor skills necessary to perform reflexology. The science of reflexology is measurable. It is an integration anatomy and physiology, organ systems, body mapping, and reflex responses.
